Brad Janik, Director

Brad Janik is an executive search professional with more than 10 years experience in retained and contingent executive recruiting.  He has conducted mid-management and C-level assignments in finance, accounting and many other senior-level and executive functions.  His clients have ranged from early stage venture-backed companies through to Fortune 500 organizations in the software, wireless, biotechnology, medical device, aerospace, manufacturing, food products, advertising, media/entertainment, real estate and financial industries. 

Prior to Judy Thompson & Associates, Brad was a principal recruiter with Slayton International, a top 20 search firm headquartered in Chicago.  Prior to Slayton, Brad was a senior associate in the Information Technology and Industrial practices of Heidrick & Struggles, one of the preeminent global search firms.  In addition to executing searches at the highest level, he was selected to be a lead participant in the firm’s new quality initiative advising on best search practices.  Brad began his search career as a consultant and director of research in the San Diego office of an international search firm.

Before entering the executive search profession, Brad was an Assistant Golf Professional at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois.

Brad has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in physics from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
